Interests: "I’m into most sports. Personally I enjoy playing volleyball and tennis the most. Anything on the water is good for me also. Indoors I love watching movies and I’m a big video-gamer.”

What are you most proud of: "Having a dream of racing cars, chasing it and making it this far while also graduating from college."

First job:  "Sweeping the race shop. When I got done, they let me work on my go-karts."

First racing experience:  "Driving the go-karts in 1993 in Houston. I dropped out of my first race but I won the next time out. A.J. was there that night too."

Greatest influence on your life:  "Definitely my parents, A.J. and Lucy. As far as places, it would have to be Indy. I've been to every race there since I was born."

What would you like to get around to doing one of these days? "Making my own movie-the film-making industry intrigues me."

Things you can do without : "Traffic on the freeway and on the race track. I've learned to eat vegetables to stay healthy but it's an acquired taste I think."

Things you cannot do without:  "My friends. I've been blessed with amazing friendships that I wouldn't trade for anything."

What do you like to do in your spare time? "I love being on the water. My friends at David's Sport Center gave me a Glastron Sport Cruiser, and I take it out on Lake Travis in Austin. Being on the water completely relaxes me. I guess I'm a true Pisces."

People would be surprised to find out:  "That I am not a cocky, conceited person. I've gotten a lot of great opportunities and a lot of help but I've had to work very hard myself."

The most misunderstood part of racing:  "I think a lot of people who watch it on TV think racing is easy and it's something they could do. They don't realize that there are times when you do get scared when something happens. Racing is not that easy, it's tough, competitive and you really have to work hard."

How you unwind after a race:  "I enjoy a big meal because I don't eat much before a race. I like to think about how the race went. I also write down a race summary on what happened and what I learned."

Oldest thing in your refrigerator:  "There's not much in my refrigerator - probably an old bottle of ketchup."

Favorite Movies: I almost have too many to name but I thought Wedding Crashers was hilarious. Casablanca and Gladiator are surely classics and, of course, you have to love The Godfather.

Favorite dish to cook:  "Don't really have time (or patience) to cook. I eat out pretty much every night."

Favorite food:  "Filet Mignon"

If you weren't racing: I'd like to be a film director. Many things happen in my life and I always think 'that would be a great scene in a movie.'

Random Thought: "Be thankful and make the most of what you have. Sure you could always have more, but you could also have much less."
