to visit your shop again . We were there one
evening a couple of years ago and you showed
us around. You just had your birthday a week
before then. Again have many more. Don B.

racing..Can't wait to see you and the crew
back on the track. Best wishes Krista L.
I've been a fan of yours since I was 10
years old in 1963. Wishing you a very happy
75th birthday. Sincerely, Will G.
Happy Birthday AJ! You are a Hero to us all.
All the Best. John M.
Congratulation and Happy 75th Birthday!!!
May you have many more and may this be an
excellent year for Foyt Racing. An Indy 500
win would make an excellent birthday
present! I began listening to the Indy 500
when I was about 16, working in a Houston
grocery store rushing back and forth to the
break room to listen to the 500 and cheering
you on. I remember your old shop off 11th /
Toledo Street….quite different from Waller.
Now at 57, I am still a FOYT Fan! Indy open
wheel racing is exciting and at the same
time the cars are sleek pieces of artwork.
Your contribution to Indy racing and other
racing venues is truly inspirational. YOU
are the King of Auto Racing…par none! May
the Lord continue to bless you, your family
and your Team. Vincent G.
Happy 35th anniversary of your 40th
birthday! Tom B.
The Dreher family would like to join in
wishing you a Happy Happy Birthday!! We have
followed your career for many years....from
the dirt tracks to Indianapolis and
everything in between. We also have been
members of your fan club and attended those
meetings. YOU have given US so many special
memories...not only by watching you display
your magic on the track, but also allowing
us, as a family, to attend those events
cheering for you and having some wonderful
family time. THANK YOU! We hope you have a
wonderful birthday, look forward to seeing
you at the track and pray for God's richest
blessings upon you. With sincere
appreciation...Mary N. and family
Happy 75th Bithday!!! Thank you for all the
years of enjoyment watching the coyote win
races. Hope you have a great day with your
family and hope 2010 is your best ever! Hank
G.
Birthday greetings from old friends in Sugar
Land. Looking forward to a great year for
you & the ABC team. George & Betty D.
I've been trying to reach you, but seems the
#'s I have no longer are in service. I
wanted to sing you a birthday song since you
didn't forget mine....just a little
recall... I received a nice signed
photograph of you with the LeMans
cars....wishing me a happy birthday....We
have many good memories of the racing days
at Ford Motor.....Didn't realize how young
you were....I'm about be become 90 in
February and you're still just a KID! Best
Wishes....on your Belated Birthday......
Your Friend HOMER P.
From a long time fan who was in the stands
at Indy for every race you drove there. My
sports heroes all are stand-up guys with the
courage of their convictions and include
you, Ted Williams and Bob Knight. Many happy
returns. Don M.
Happy Birthday & Many, Many More! You are a
true American hero and your story is a
modern day epic. What's more, you are nice
to your fans, making it very special to
attend the races. With great admiration,
Kathy Mc. p.s. We have some champagne & will
be toasting you!
Happiest of birthdays to you! You are one of
my favorite drivers of all time. Happy
birthday again. Holly H.
Today is my birthday too! Just a few years
behind ya I'm 40 today :). I was so excited
a few years back when I learned that we
shared the same birthday! One of my favorite
racers of all time! Sandie
Wishing you a very Happy Birthday from all
the Tony Stewart Fans at the SHR Official

Peanuts
I was named after you when I was born on
November 21st 1974. I have never met you but
have tried to mirror my lifestyle after
yours. You are tough, smart and savy. You
are also a very good person. I live in
Indianapolis and have been to every 500
since 1986. My dad has his license plates
personalized that say 14 Foyt and Foyt these
aren't vanity plates but real Indiana
license plates. Anyway Happy Birthday and we
are huge fans here in INDY. Also your 35
years in a row of making the INDY 500 is one
of the most remarkable streaks in all of
sports. It doesn't get mentioned much by
national sports outlets but it should. More
impressive than Cal Ripken's or Brett
Farve's consecutive games streaks!! Happy
Birthday!! You're the King!! ajfh
Happy Birthday A.J. Foyt! 75 years and still
going strong. Travis B.
Happy 75th Birthday A.J.! It’s been an
amazing run so far and we wish you many more
happy and successful years to come. – Your
Friends at ABC Supply
Happy birthday AJ and may 2010 be a great
year for you and your race team. Dale G.
It has been a pleasure and an honor to work
for you. Happy Birthday AJ !! Your friend,
Becky
AJ, I met you when I was an electrician
working on your engine building shop off
Maxroy, in fact I just drove by there this
morning. I assisted you when the Dyno Fan
motor tripped. I really enjoyed talking to
your Dad discussing the Duncan Coffee
Company. I am a 3rd generation electrician
and carry on the family Electrical
Contracting business… I have lots of stories
relating to you, but I have never been to an
Indy race. I only pull for Foyt racing…It
was 42 years ago when I worked at your shop,
but I have fond memories of seeing the cars
and hearing the Dyno. (I figured you were 33
and I was 19). HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND MANY MORE
TO OUR HOUSTON HOMETOWN HERO!!! Bill S.
From the Dreher Family in Illinois - Happy,
Happy Birthday! We've watched you from the
very beginning and hoped and prayed that
someday you'd be attending those
Indianapolis Old-timers Meetings! There were
some years, we wondered if our prayers would
be answered, but you made it!!! Thank God
for that! And Thank YOU for some great
memories! Brenda D.
Happy birthday Mr. Foyt! I say Mr. because
you are older now.... Lol. Actually I say
that every year to daddy and he knows my
sick humor. Seriously though, the whole
Cochran family sends best wishes to you! I'm
Billy Cochran’s niece (he flew you back to
Houston when your plane broke down).....and
also Larry’s friend. Enjoy your day tomorrow
and let ‘Lollie’ dog give you grandaddy
kisses! All our best, The Cochran family
(Leila)
Happy birthday AJ and many more. I have
rooted for you since my first 500 in 1973,
and was lucky enough to see your 4th win.
Even though I bet and lost more than I won
on your horses at Keeneland and Churchill,
you will always be my favorite and the face
of Indy Cars and the 500, Rike W.
Happy Birthday Mr. Foyt! You’re the
Greatest! Lori J.
Happy Birthday A.J., I've been a fan since I
was 5yo. Went to my first Indy 500 in 1967
when I was 12, and was there when you
announced your retirement in 1993 . Good
luck to you and your family and team. I'll
be following Vitor, and see you at Indy.
Thanks for all of the years. Tim B. ~~o---o
A.J. Wishing you a happy, healthy year!
Thanks for being a true champion and giving
us a reason for following Indy Car Racing
for so many years! Look forward to seeing
you at the track for a long, long time!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Leo & Marilyn McG.
Happy birthday champ!..it is hard for me to
believe that back in 1947,1948 and 1949 when
me and my dad every friday night went to the
"class a " midget races at the champaign il
county fairgrounds and watched my heroes
like chuck weyant, rex easton, the racing
cab driver chuck marshall, bob breeding and
others. not till years later when my friend
pat richards of houston took me and dale
burt to lunch, only then did i learn that you
also were at those same races. well you were
the absolute best, watching you on a dirt
track was like you were a continuation of
the car...sitting straight up....just your
wrists, and arms and right foot controlling
the broadslide......your ability will never
be attained again!! and i am proud that we
both are still alive and even though it is a
long way from champaign illinois in
1947......i hope we both have at least
another 10 years left, again happy birthday
champ.........Ed D.
Happy Birthday A. J. You have been my Hero
since the 70's. I have never had the
opportunity to meet you in person, usually
due to your having a Bad day but you have
always had my support in good times and bad.
I remember your first laps around the
Indianapolis track after your foot injuries.
My son and I stood out in the cold to wave
as you drove by with tears in our eyes. Hope
you get to enjoy your Big Day and Good Luck
during the 2010 racing season. Your fan
always, Gayle L.
A.J. Happy 75th Birthday! Another
accomplishment from the greatest driver of
all time. I am looking forward to seeing you
back in Victory Lane, just tell Vitor not to
jump on you like Airton did. It has been
awesome going to the track each year and
seeing you there. On numerous occasions you
have spent a few minutes with my family, and
those are memories that I, and they will
never forget. Your biggest fan, Nathan L.
Happy Birthday A.J. Been a long time since I
watched you run with Cotton Farmer and Buzz
Barton from Keokuk. Now those were the
days~! Dan
Happy birthday, it's 75 and to be 100! A J
the best to you and your family. Tom D.
Happy 75th Birthday!! I can't remember when
I first started watching racing. I think it
was when Indy was on a tape delay those many
years ago. I was hooked on racing. There are
a few figures in the sports world that make
their particular sport big. Without you,
racing would be nowhere. Thanks AJ for
making Indy Car racing the sport it is
today. Happy Birthday again. Dave H.
(longtime AJ Foyt fan).
AJ: Happy 75th Birthday from your most loyal
fan in the world! I was the little kid in
the mid-'60s at Indianapolis Motor Speedway
who would follow you around yelling "Hey
AJ!" until you would turn and wave to me!
Then I would run away back to my mom (I was
about four years old). When you won the
Hoosier 100 in 1968 I was standing there
next to the front left tire while you were
getting out of the car doing the same thing,
and when you finally got everything off
(helmet, etc.) you looked at me, smiled and
waved and off I went. I was six. I've been
your biggest fan ever since. The way you
have lived your life professionally has
always been an inspiration to me, and I hope
you have 75 more happy birthdays!
Sincerely, Phil K.
