Dennis Hauger has competed successfully at the highest levels of international karting and single-seater racing, progressing from karting through Formula 4, Formula 3, Formula 2, INDY NXT, and into the NTT INDYCAR SERIES.
Throughout his career, he has repeatedly demonstrated exceptional natural speed, adaptability, and car control, often performing immediately in unfamiliar cars and on circuits he had never previously driven.

Career Summary

2026: Won the Rookie of the Year Award in the NTT INDYCAR Series with Dale Coyne Racing…Qualified third in his INDYCAR debut at St. Petersburg…Ran second in his first Indianapolis 500 before a pit-lane speeding penalty ended a potential top-five run. Posted five top-8 starts, two top-10 and five top-15 finishes.

2025: Won the INDY NXT by Firestone Championship with six victories and 12 podium finishes…Claimed pole and victory in his first race in the United States…Won four of the first five races of the season…Set the fastest lap after approximately 45 minutes in his first-ever oval test at Nashville.

2024: Completed his first INDY NXT by Firestone test at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course…Set the fastest lap of the day on only his seventh lap despite having no previous experience in the car, at the circuit or in the simulator.

2022-24: Competed for two-and-a-half seasons in FIA Formula 2, earning five victories and 11 podium finishes…Scored wins at Monaco, Baku, Melbourne, Budapest and Jeddah…Earned pole positions at Melbourne and Austria during his final F2 season.

2021: Won the FIA Formula 3 Championship with PREMA Racing…Opened the season with pole position and victory in Barcelona and earned multiple victories and podium finishes on the way to the title.

2020: Made FIA Formula 3 debut with Hitech…Joined PREMA Racing for postseason testing at Jerez and immediately set the fastest time in the opening official test…Made an unexpected Formula Regional European Championship appearance with Van Amersfoort Racing, qualifying on pole after only two practice sessions before finishing second and winning the two races.

2019: Won the Italian Formula 4 Championship and finished runner-up in the German Formula 4 Championship…Recorded 18 victories and 26 podium finishes.

2018: Joined the Red Bull Junior Team at age 15 and began his first full season of car racing…Finished fourth in British Formula 4 with four victories and 10 podium finishes.

2017: Won the German DKM Senior Karting Championship after winning the Junior title the previous season…Finished seventh in the European Championship…Made his first Formula 4 test at Hockenheim at age 14 and immediately demonstrated front-running pace…Was recommended to Red Bull by Max and Jos Verstappen before completing a successful simulator evaluation at Red Bull Racing.

2016: Became a CRG factory driver in OK Junior…Won numerous international races and became the youngest winner of the German DKM Championship…Finished fourth in the European Championship.

2015: Won every WSK championship he entered and was signed as a factory driver by CRG.

2014: Moved into international karting competition in Italy…Immediately topped the timing sheets during his first test despite being the youngest of 52 drivers…Joined the successful Gamoto team.

2011-13: Made his kart racing debut in Norway at age eight…Recorded 63 podium finishes in 72 races during his first two seasons and won the championships in which he competed.

My dad used to race, and I got my first quad when I was 2 years old.

All the multitasking while driving.
