DETROIT (May 30, 2026) -- Alessandro de Tullio continues to dominate qualifying in the INDY NXT by Firestone series,  earning his fifth pole in seven races in the No. 14 AJ Foyt Racing entry.

He claimed the top spot with a lap time of 1 minute, 5.3664 seconds around the nine-turn, 1.645-mile temporary street circuit.

"Great to be on pole again here at Detroit. The team gave me a great car and we executed. Head down and full focus on finishing the job tomorrow,” said de Tullio, who will be gunning for his second victory from pole, having turned the trick at Barber Motorsports Park in March.

Teammate Nicholas Monteiro qualified 21st in the No. 4 AJ Foyt Racing entry.

Max Taylor will start second after a hard crash in the morning practice. Rounding out the top five were: Tymek Kucharczyk, Jim Correa and Lochie Hughes.

The 45-lap race is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. ET Sunday and will be broadcast on FS1.
