TORONTO, Canada (July 19, 2025) -- The final street course event of the NTT INDYCAR Series will be a tough one for AJ Foyt Racing as both drivers will need to use their skills in traffic tomorrow.
David Malukas qualified the No. 4 Clarience Technologies Chevrolet in the 16th position after posting a lap of one minute, 0.2941seconds around the 1.786-mile temporary circuit at Exhibition Place.

We missed out," the 23-year-old said. "Sat there and just went through the data until qualifying was over and found some stuff that I can really work on and make myself better-- just from seeing the other drivers. I think overall, we just kind of missed that window a little bit with the tire temp. I think we were kind of in between lap two and three and by the end of lap three, the tires were already falling off and we were holding on for dear life. So missed that window a little bit, but still could have gotten a lap in and just miffed with myself. We're going to get our heads down and see what we can do for tomorrow.”

Santino Ferrucci had an even tougher session and will start 23rd in the No. 14 Sexton Properties Chevrolet after posting a lap time of one minute, 0.7058 seconds.
“Honestly, kind of just a bit beside myself," said Ferrucci. "You know I think we've been doing a really
good job with the car. We thought we had made the correct changes, when in reality, I think we overlooked a very important thing in the philosophy of the setup, and it just showed, so I think tomorrow we'll be fine.”
Colton Herta won the NTT P1 award with his lap time of 59.8320 seconds. Alex Palou was second followed by Marcus Armstrong. Rounding out the Firestone Fast Six were Will Power, Graham Rahal and Kyle Kirkwood.
Teams will have a morning warmup to test out the changes prior to the running of the Ontario Honda Dealers Indy Toronto. The 90-lap race will be broadcast by FOX on Sunday, starting at Noon E.T.
